Anchor Text question

Postby Nina » Sun May 27, 2012 9:21 am

Hello,
I am really new to SEO in general and this software in particular.
I don't understand the Anchor Text.
Let's say I have a site which sells surveillance equipment, like "bugs", listening devices, wiretaps etc.
I have 200 keywords or more.
I need an EXACT example how to use the anchor text, how to write it and what to write. I couldn't understand it from the explanations.
Thank you in advance,
Nina

The anchor text is what you want to rank your website for so this is what you enter in here. You can enter multiple anchor texts and have a random one chosen when posting to give variation to your linking profile.

Multiple anchor texts can be entered using spintax where you use curly brackets ( { and } ) and the vertical separator char ( | ). There are hundreds of great spinning tutorials on the net but simply you start a spin with the open curly bracket { and signal a new variation with the separator | and then close it off with the close curly bracket }.

Using your keywords above I would enter something such as below for the anchor texts:
{bugs|listening devices|wiretaps}

Thank you very much jimbobo2779 !!!
Still I have no idea what this software is supposed to do.
About a year ago, we used a software which "implanted" articles we wrote in blogs.
Is this software supposed to do the same?
Regards,
Nina

I am not trying to put you off using NHSEO but if you are really just starting out you may be better served doing some manual SEO work initially and seeing what works for you and then looking for tools to accomplish certain tasks that will save you time rather than look for how a tool/technique can work for you.

The best way to learn about these things is to do them yourself manually, it will give a much better understanding of what tools are doing (but most of all why they are doing it) and will help you to get the most out of whatever tool you are looking at purchasing.

Again I am not trying to talk you out of buying it, I would just rather give you advice that I think will help you rather than advice to get you to buy my tool.

Hi.
how to link a page with own url and this not as manual link but for crawled pages?
for example
http://www.domain.com/page.html and instead of a keyword to be http://www.domain.com/page.html

and more if it's possible to link with page title.
this shouldn't be hard if page it's crawled but it's there any option for that? it will be easy to be something like ##ulr## or ##uri## or ##title## in anchor text field.

for an example in anchor text field to put something like {real estate|hauses|##title##|##url##} so links look more natural, because people usually link with url not with a keyword.

Currently using the meta title for anchor text is not supported. You can set an individual anchor text for every page of every profile (optional) using the profile handler in the pages tab.
