Using CaptchaSniper

Postby revekozu » Thu Dec 15, 2011 2:49 pm

I just installed Captcha Sniper and I've enabled types 16 and 30.

Coincidentally it is a new version 1.4 and I believe the Platform / Footprint settings are new. Any recommendations for those settings?

Also a minor bug. Mouseover hint on the "Enable Captcha Sniper" is incorrect

Thanks for the heads up on CS1.4, I am getting my copy soon and will check it is all up and running though I cannot see why anything would have changed with the way it interacts with tools but we will see. I will post here if I find anything.

I was actually aware of the tool tip for Enable CS controls, it was an oversight on the last update and has already been put right for the next update. Thanks for the heads up

Always happy to whine. :)

I'm having trouble getting CaptchaSniper to work on my VPS, but I'm betting their support will help me figure it out eventually... hate when my new toys don't work...

Just checked it for myself and CS1.4 works just as 1.3 did with NHSEO. Just make sure that CS is running and that you do not have anything running on port80 then load NHSEO and make sure you have the option enabled in the settings tab and it will do everything else for you.

Just sharing the issue I had with CaptchaSniper
I was getting the error "Invalid procedure call or argument-5"
I had an issue with my version of C++ distributable. Just installing the 2010 version didn't do it. Had to go back and install 2008 SP1 version as well ... just in case anyone else hits those errors.

Works like a charm now
