All browsers stop working when NHSEO runs

Why does all my browser stop working when I run NHSEO. I just bought this moments ago. All it does is search proxies.

If you are experiencing difficulties using browsers while running NHSEO then you are likely maxing out your connection, try turning down the number of Max Threads in the Settings=>More App Settings tab.

I'm experiencing the same problem. It was fine before running at 70 threads, now my whole internet goes down when NHS is testing proxies.

Changing no. of connections has no effect. There must be something wrong with the proxy tester, why don't you let us configure it?

It is configurable. The number of threads it uses is set by the Max Threads option.

Everything is setup to run best for the majority of cases. When testing proxies each thread will be doing more internet connections in the same amount of time when compared to a posting thread as a proxy checking thread only has to check that the proxy works then moves on whereas the threads when posting will use more system resources and less internet due to the extra time spent checking for forms and filling them and doing other things with the pages.

Adding more options when they are not needed will just increase the amount of possibilities for incorrect settings.

Okay, but let us choose max. connections for proxies then? And why is it that one can run SB with 300 connections but not NHS when testing proxies? :)

Update
I've researched the problem a bit more and the "Web Protection" in Avast Antivirus is what causes the problem since NHS is creating too many threads that take forever to get killed and time out (being able to set timeout please?). Therefor one get a huge stack of idle threads that lag everything. Disabling Avasts Web Shield somewhat solves the problem.

So to all you that have problems, check your AV and configure it if you can or request timeOut-features in NHS. :)

Just to clear this thread up before I close it I will be adding a max threads for proxies so that it can be lowered as the proxy checker will be a lot more aggresive on the internet connection compared to the posting portion of the tool, I don't have a set date for this feature but it will come at some point.
