Captcha Sniper

Postby Stevie » Mon Feb 06, 2012 8:50 pm

Hi Jimbob,

Just updated to 1.5beta and when using the "Test Captcha Sniper" button in the settings tab I get "Captcha Sniper Responded OK" but nothing actually shows in CS.

Maybe this is something to do with the new CS updates but thought I would ask here first as when I test in Scrapebox it works fine.

Cheers matey :)

When you say nothing actually shows in CS, do you mean you cant see it solve the captcha when you test it with NHSEO?

I haven't seen this myself but I haven't been using v1.5 so I cannot say for sure. I would be surprised if they would bork one of their main interfaces up as it would wreck all apps running with it. I will ask for them to send me the latest build and I will test it out.

If you wanted to PM me a link to the latest build I'll look into it right away.

Thanks for that. I installed that version and everything is working fine. Are you sure you do not have any app running on port 80 and that the firewall isn't blocking NHSEO in anyway?

When I installed and tested it worked in th esame way that v1.4 would have so I don't really know why you would be seeing an issue. An easy way to see if anything is running on port 80 is to close CS and then restart it, it should warn you if there is anything blocking it.

If the test from in NHSEO comes back as succeeded then it has managed to send a test captcha to CS and received the correct reply so even if something is not showing in the CS preview window it seems it is still working fine.

I can get it to work normally with nhseo jimbob, its when trying to use the csse feature, but I think I may have a fix for it.

I have never used CSSE, this is the first I had heard of it, but if you are getting an OK then NHSEO has sent two test captchas and received the response it was looking for. I think this is something that either isn't an issue or should be taken up with the people that understand how CS works better.

A difference now is that these two captchas that NHS sends doesn't show up in Captcha Sniper so it doesn't seem to work?

Edit: After running NHS with Captcha Sniper 1.5b for about on hour no captcha has been solved. It doesn't seem to work even though NHS returns "OK" when testing.
