Indexer and Pinger can't keep pace with NHSEO

Postby mol » Sun Dec 20, 2015 3:54 pm

I leave the whole night the Indexer and Pinger without the NHSEO and still the que never ends. They can't keep up with the main program.

Main program 60/30 threads. Indexer and Pinger 30 threads. I use private proxies, like a daily list of thousands that I get.~

Any advice? TY :-)

list progress in the pinger is 34/2036
list progress in the indexer is 1/4824

is it normal the indexer is just 1 at the time?

i just set both programs to 300 threads. so i see the pinger active and moving, tho the progress numbers go back and forth, which is weird for me.

and the indexer in progressing slowly, but now the total links and dofollow columns remain in zero for each link completed... weird change as well. before they would also progress.

Finally the Pinger finished, seems the 300 thread worked. But I must say that the 300 thread is not working for the indexer. The list progress is just 2/4500. So even if I leave computer 24 on it still won

just discovered a trick. for the indexer it'ts better not to use proxies, it's running now way faster. list progress of 4/4500 . and total links and do follow links is appearing.

The list of proxies you receive are definitely not private, you are sharing them with many other users and they are almost definitely scraped public proxies.

As for the indexer it is doing many times more work per page than a simple pinger is and is doing a huge amount more jobs on top of that so where a ping is a simple ping and there are about 30 pings per page each page in indexer has hundreds (usually 1000+) of posts made and link checks for each of them so each job will take a lot longer. Because of the extra time it is common for each finished job to be cleared out as the next job starts so you may se 1/4700 jobs and then come back 10 minutes later to see it is still on job 1 but it is 1/4690 so job 1 of 4690.

You can either increase the threads of indexer or set a limit on the number of posts to do for each indexer job if you want to get through the jobs quicker.

do u recommend not using proxies at all for the indexer and pinger or it's risky and compromising the results? Also I have run the pinger for 24h and has done like 40k links. And still seems to have many. So how do i know how many are pending? and if i don't use pinger and i just let the main NHSEO do the job, even if slower. Would it be as effective? Thank you :-)

The only difference between NHSEO doing the pinging and No Hands Pinger doing the pinging is that if NHSEO is doing it then it is spending time doing that rather than creating backlinks, no other difference.

I would advise good private proxies always for everything.

There is a status indicator at the bottom of No Hands Pinger that shows how many links are still waiting to be pinged.
