[IMPLEMENTED] Add banned domain list to settings

After checking my sites in link detox, I noticed that a fair amount of the really bad/poor links were created by nhseo, which is no fault of nhseo.

It would be great if we could add domains to nhseo that we never want it to post to. This would improve the overall quality of the backlinks.

You already can add lists of domains not to post to via the Settings=>Add and Block Lists tab, simply enter in the domains you don't want to post to and it will never post to those domains.

However I would not advise pasting huge lists to this text box as it will just limit number of links and use a lot of CPU cycles on every post as every potential target will need to be checked against this list. I hadn't actually heard of this service before and after looking at it it appears to just be one of the many services that are playing on the current paranoia of SEO's and link builders, I cannot say it is something that I would ever be interested in using. I would rather limit by link quality by setting a limit to the OBL of pages to build links from to ensure the pages are not overly spammed.

If there was an API for them to allow a tool to upload an address and get a quality metric back with which to limit posting I would happily add this functionality but I couldn't see anything on the website that would allow for this sort of thing.

I'm not sure how I missed that. I guess I should check next time. :)

Many of the links came from the same domain anyway, so I was not looking at adding too many. I'm mainly looking at domains that have been penalized or flagged as malware/phishing sites.

Out of curiosity, how many domains would you consider a huge list?

I doubt they will add an API mainly because it takes time to discover and test all the backlinks.
