So I'm on my first day of trialling this.
It seems that I can choose which platforms I use with a particular campaign/profile. However it seems that I can't turn off whois.
I have turned off all platforms (and hit save) except just one. (For the purpose of sorting this out) But still it keeps posting to whois and it seems to want to do this before it will do anything else.

The whois (probably would be better labelled indexing) in the platform list is a different set of sites to the built in whois list. This type of whois post will only be made when the link type is found as a result of a search, the whois list is built into the tool.
To turn off the posting to the built in list of whois sites you need to uncheck the "Active?" option in the Whois group of controls found in the Settings=>App Settings tab.
