No region specific blogs etc..

Hi all,

I recently started using NHSEO and i have set it up for dutch commenting. I have rewritten the comments all to dutch in a spinnable version. In my profile i selected "Dutch - Netherlands" at the "Choose a specific region" drop down box. And i selected Google as my search engine.
NHSEO started working and only finds english blogs to comment on, no dutch ones.
What can i do to make it find dutch blogs?? Do i have to alter the footprints? I have already copied some footprints and i can find dutch blogs in my normal browser.

Installed version: 1.7.7.0
Tried proxies from Proxy Goblin (auto feeding) and built in harvester.

Would there be an option in a future version so i can choose domain specific links? E.G. .nl .fr .de

If anyone has some nice footprints for dutch users then i would be eager to try them out.

You said that you have translated the comments you shouldn't edit the comments file directly but to enter custom comments for your profiles using the Profile Handler. The comments file is overwritten when the app is updated so you will lose them if the translated comments are saved to this file. Make sure to get a backup of this file before updating your version.

I will have a look at the way Google searches to see if there is an issue there and fix if needed in the next update.

If you are using Proxy Goblin to get proxies you won't want to be using the inbuilt harvester as it will have to spend a lot of time harvesting and checking proxies when Proxy Goblin is doing this anyway. I would suggest restarting NHSEO after turning off the proxy harvester to make sure there are no proxies still in the harvested list.

You can select domains on a per profile basis by using the Profile Handler, it may not guarantee all results will be from those domains but will place extra weight on those domains so you will get more from them than if the domains were not chosen.

Thank you for your response.
I did put them on an extra text file and imported them (still have to save the English ones).
Now that you mention it, i overlooked the "Domain specific searching", thought it was the same option as "exclude" :facepalm:. I thought by myself why that option wasn''t here and i was adjusting the footprints especially for searching dutch sites.

I''ll try again in this weekend and let you know the outcome.
