Safe search on or off ?

Postby RedHot » Thu Apr 19, 2012 11:46 am

I trying the trail of No Hands SEO , and liking it very much .

Only I have some 'adult' site's , and this isn't working so well (adult trackbacks to regular news blogs etc. isn't a very good idea) .
My guess is that the search results of NHS is done with Safe search set to the default 'On' .(or active?)

Is it possible to let the program search with "Safe search" set to "off" ?

(Great program btw!)

When searching with Yahoo I had never noticed it blocking adult pages but I know Google does by default. I will add a setting for the next update (hopefully, if not it will be the next update) that will set to off by default and give the user an option to turn it on if they wish.

I'm sorry if this is short of your expectations but I do appreciate the idea. Thanks for the kind words.

I switched from Google to Yahoo as search provider , and I'm seeing lots of 'adult' urls .
(Thank you for the suggestion)

So little tip for promoters of adult website's , use Yahoo ;)

(Btw , this program isn't short of my expectations , it's more then I thought it would be, only worried it wouldn't work for 'adult' .)

Google gives more accurate results (less fails=more links) but has slightly tighter restrictions on amount of requests per IP so if you are not running with proxies or just a few private proxies you may want to stick with Yahoo but if you have lots of proxies or are using a third party proxy harvester you may want to go with Google.

Thank You for answer. I dont use proxies, only 7-10 profiles, one search thread and 10-12 posting threads.
