Questions about proxies and the latest versions of NHSEO?

No the proxies entered manually will persist and not be checked. If you are entering public proxies and are not using a third party tool to check their effectiveness often, and output to a file which NHSEO loads, then I would stop tbh as public proxies do not normally last long at all.

Hello,

I decided to Buy / Rent private proxies for use with NHSEO, per your recommendation that they will greatly increase efficiency and speed of posting. I got 10 total, and put 5 in posting, and 5 in searching. My question is, do I still need to use the proxy harvester if I put those in? Also, if put private proxies in, how high can I safely set the Max Threads and Searching Threads?

You can use the same proxies for searching and posting depending on the connection limit of the proxies. If you have a connection limit on your proxies of 10 you would need to keep your max threads at 10 when using the proxies for posting, which is quite low. Personally I wouldn't use any proxies for posting and just use all 10 proxies for searching and set the allowed searching threads to 3-5, 3 should be sufficient unless you have 20+ profiles.

You should be able to find out the max connections limit on your proxies by referencing the website you bought from or asking the provider directly.

it took a few days of trying different settings/messing with firewall settings and other tests to find the perfect spot but now that i Found the sweet spot nohandsseo and proxy goblin are running together amazingly! lots of success rates! running 45 post setting.

Yep when you get a proxy harvesting tool setup correctly it can make a fair bit of difference, especially in how quickly NHSEO gets posting as you don't need to wait for it to find its own proxies. I am using private proxies. How can I tell if they are being used at all ?
If I have the harvester option ticked, does this act as a backup, or does it over-ride the private proxies.

The reason I am asking is when I started using it today, and set up my first profile, it said at the bottom " Using the following IP address xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx' which was my VPS address, not a proxy address !
