That other forum post is from more than 2 and a half years ago, it is most definitely not at all relevant to any current update.

I have not experienced or had any other mentions of a crash in the app so it is unlikely an issue with the software itself, the error also reads like a .NET crash.

Looking up mscorwks.dll shows that it is a .NET dll that has had a hotfix issued for it so there are versions of it that have a known issue. There is an installing / fix for all versions of .NET which can be downloaded from MS directly here

I installed NHSEO on Windows server 2012 VPS too with the same error (after running for a few minutes), I had .NET frameworks 3.5 on both machines , on win server 2008 I installed 4.5 .NET framework version with the same problem. I just run it the mentioned fix hopefully it will solve the problem..

It seems like only I'm using Windows server 2008/2012 from all your clients ??

That link fix application didn't fix my problem, it went back in 5 minutes. I also updated .NET frameworks to 4.5 version with no effect.

I feel very bad about the situation, its the 3rd day since I got this software and didn't managed to use it once and support replies comes once a day, so right now I have to wait another 12-24 hours for another message from you.

I have just finished checking the thread checker in as many configurations as I can on different machines (Win8.1, Win7 Home SP2, Win7 Pro SP2, Win XP SP2, Win Server 2008 R2) and there was not a single crash with the built in Proxy Checker.

As I stated in my last reply I have not had any other mention of a crash, also the mscorwks.dll is a .NET module not something that is in my software. If you are getting a crash in mscorwks.dll then that would suggest there is an issue with that file which is a part of .NET and not something that I can fix in my software.

I have both Windows server 2008 R2 and 2012 , same error again and again. Its clear that NHSEO have some issues with those OS's. So I decided to install fresh Windows 7 on my VPS and run all applications again, hopefully this time will work.

I have a Win Server 2008 R2 server and it runs just fine on it. The error you are seeing is a .NET issue, I don't really know how else I can explain it. What you are seeing is a .NET error.

Just doing a search for mscorwks.dll shows exactly what I am trying to tell you.

Once again I have not heard of a single other user, from hundreds that use NHSEO daily, that they are experiencing crashes and I have tested on many different platforms in different ways without being able to get it to crash while actively trying to get it to crash.

I would suggest to update to the latest version of both software and use the "No Hands SEO" preset in NHProxies and use the wizard in No Hands SEO for your setup to fix all of the issues with your setup and run like that.

Incredible with Windows 7 I got the same error. You maybe right because first I installed NHSEO on Win 2008 - then copy it database to win server 2012 VPS with same error -then copy it database to Win 7 VPS - same error.

I followed "I would suggest to update to the latest version of both software and use the "No Hands SEO" preset in NHProxies and use the wizard in No Hands SEO for your setup to fix all of the issues with your setup and run like that." So what I did is to close NHSEO and start it again - select NHSEO setup wizard - middle option - and all settings as recommended. Is it fine or should I do something else ? I will post results if this works.
------

update: using wizard setup solved the error problem..

That is because when a search is done NHSEO will take the keyword and add the footprint to it and do a search, if the only results it returns are already queued to be posted to or have been posted to in the past there will be 0 new targets to add.

For example using the short bit of log above I can get the following:
Keyword: openvz kernel32.dll
Footprint: "Powered By MediaWiki"
Put together gives search request: openvz kernel32.dll "Powered By MediaWiki"

Gives 1 result which is likely to have shown up in other searches for such a very specific search keyword. As your search progress was hindered by bad setup early on I would suggest maybe resetting your search keywords by right clicking on the profile and choosing "Reset Search Keywords" to get it to start over from fresh.
