Private proxies will always give a much better number of links and likely help improve the quality links also. Running without proxies requires slowing down all of the searching so as to prevent getting temporarily banned from searching in the search engines (not your website banned, but you as a user banned from searching for a short time).
Your second question I don't really understand, free or premium what? The trial of NHSEO is largely limit free other than the time constraint. Public proxies from a tool like
No Hands Proxies can be better than no proxies in most cases but private proxies will always be better, but obviously way more expensive.
You do not need to run with a captcha solver but you will get more links and a software such as captcha sniper which is a single payment as opposed to monthly or per solve cost it will be cheaper in the long run.
