without a doubt, GooglePlusing a URL really helps it to get spidered by google.

is there a way to automate G+ing urls created within NHSEO, now that WOULD be awesome

Due to how often sites like that change their registration and posting systems it would be a huge under taking to keep it upto date and would take too much time away from the rest of the tools features. This is why all tools that target specific sites (facebook, twitter, G+ etc) are all monthly pay or are only effective for a short time.

Sorry, I hate to say a flat out no to features but it wouldn't be a feasible thing to add to a tool like NHSEO.
