When a comment is posted it is then checked to see if the link was auto-approved, if it was it will say the comment was posted and confirmed and will proceed to ping the page.
If your comment is saved as posted that means it has ended up in the moderation queue and is not currently showing a link. You can check these posts for links at a later date, give plenty of time as it will take some time for the blog owner to read the comment/trackback and accept/deny it. Most of these posts to blogs that are not auto-accepted will not get accepted.
You can increase the number of comments and trackbacks accepted by using custom comments for each profile that are relevant to your niche and look like legitimate comment, using good private proxies for posting, using Captcha Sniper. Always make sure to use spinning for your anchor text so you are not just targeting one anchor text for your profiles.
