Footprints

Postby tanky » Sun Jan 01, 2012 4:31 pm

Hello guys

New here and first time using any kind of software like this..

My first question is about footprints. How to find a good set of footprints using No hands seo? I've read a few tut's on other blogs regarding other similar software but i'm using this software - kinda like it - so i'd like to make full use of it.

Generally it is a really bad idea to mess with the footprints at all. People assume that NHSEO (because it does commenting) is like other tools but it really doesn't act like other tools at all and changing the footprints probably won't have the desired effect.

If you want to email me the footprints you are looking at adding, providing it is just a couple, I can show you how you would convert them to a format that was usable in NHSEO though.

To be honest, i looked into it a little and nearly gave up all together. The tutorial was based on SB so i couldn't apply the same technique. I'm not sure what to do next, i think i need to buy 5 or 6 private proxys and run the program for a few days? see if that gives me more than 8 backlinks

I'm on day 3 of my trial. I run it on a crappy XP box. I've got 4 cheap proxies and I've managed ~900 links over 5 different profiles. You gotta get proxies. I actually think I might have even better performance if I could dial *down* the 15 trial threads. But I could hardly be happier.

To repeat: you gotta get some proxies.

I think I understand where you're coming from here. If someone were to enter a footprint that doesn't work well then nhSEO (i hate all caps) could waste a lot of time trying to post to pages that won't work. And that would make the proggie look worse than it really is.

Still, for someone who has tooled around with Scrapebox a bit there has to be an urge to go add some more. Editing pre-existing footprints seems like suicide though.

I'll buy 5 private proxies and give that a go. Do you have any suggestions as to where to get AA Lists? I've seen sites selling them quite cheap but it's kinda pointless if they're not compatible.

Nice thing you can get links without the AA lists. Just dip your feet in with a "website" profile first to get a taste of success. Can't stress enough how that will make you feel. Let nhSEO hit all the freebie whois sites and that'll get you started. While nhSEO is doing that just grab yourself some fresh free AA lists floating around on the usual sites. No those aren't going to be as good as what you can get on your own. But over the last 18 hours I've got a nice number of links from just a small free AA list.

But don't fuss over that first. Get the proxies and go. I'm already seeing a traffic boost to some pages that I think can be directly attributed to nhSEO.
