So far after 2 days of running software:

Can anyone give me a clue as to why this is happening? I have raked around the web, seems a few people have the same problem and I am yet to find the solution.

Thanks

Also, where is the update button?

You are almost definitely using bad proxies. You will want to re-add this profile and start again from scratch as NHSEO has been trying to search the keywords and failing due to the proxies being bad, pages have not been crawled as page requests are returning no content as the proxies are bad and you have no confirmed links as when the few successful posts that have occurred have actually gone through the proxies have prevented the page from being contactable.

There is no update button unless there is an update available, there hasn't been an update in a couple of weeks as I have been working on quite a major update so if you have recently got the latest version the button won't be there.

I am using paid private proxies, not bad proxies. I have also tried elite, anonyous and public proxies via proxy-goblin. I have also tried no proxies. The proxies I have used work with my other software - scrapebox etc. Still not getting any confirmations. Advice and suggestions please

Where did you purchase your proxies from? If SQUID proxies then they are limited to 10 concurrent threads. All working proxies work with NHSEO but if you have limitations on the proxies then they are not suitable for continued use with multiple threads. Also any scraped proxy with any tool or from any website is not ideal for running for more than a few minutes to an hour. The vast majority of public proxies are terribly unreliable and as such will ruin any possible results as NHSEO is designed to run for hours (or days) on end.

You could try running at 10 or so threads to see if it is the connection limit on your proxies.

I forgot to mention that the website profile you have entered in should have been entered without the www. if your website redirects from the address you enter in it will not be able to crawl your website to find inner pages to promote, when I visited it I was instantly redirected soyou will want to re-add the profile with its correct web address once you figure out the connection issue.

I only use prime paid proxies.

I have only operated the software at 10 threads (max) so far.

Would you kindly explain why I should use a URL without the "www"? I have a 301 redirect (for seo purposes) from the non-www to the full http://www. I would have thought that entering a profile URL address without the "www" would have been a possible problem, not the other way around. In the profile I am using the full web address i.e. http://www x x x x x x .co.uk

I have done a redirect check and this is the result:-

Checked link: http:// x x x x x x .co.uk

Type of redirect: 301 Moved Permanently

Redirected to: http://www. x x x x x x .co.uk/

So are you saying that the URL for the profile always has to be entered without the "www"?

Thanks

Rob

You don't need to have the address in any particular format to gain backlinks at all. You could literally enter in lkjhglkjhglkjhlkjhglkjhlk.com and you coudl drive links to it. For scraping if you enter in www.domain.com knowing that address redirects to domain.com then the crawler will not be able to crawl the site. There are reasons for this.

What I am saying is if your domain is centered around http://domain.com you shouldn't enter it in as http://www.domain.com as all the links will be on the "domain.com" domain and not the "www.domain.com" sub-domain.

Without more info about your setup I cannot comment on why you have seen no links. If you want to zip/rar your DATABASE.db3 file from your "My Documents\No Hands SEO" folder and upload it to a file host I will look into it and let you know what is wrong with your setup. Just PM/email me a link to your DB file and we'll get to the bottom of what is going on here.
