No Hands SEO Crashing after Update

Postby pmj1 » Sat Nov 17, 2012 10:29 pm

I'm getting the following error after updating NH SEO and also cannot log into members area with my email address to see if I can get the answer in there so would be grateful for any assistance on this please!
Error :-
Could not find assembly.
An essential assembly file could not be found. No Hands SEO will close. Could not load file or assembly 'DevComponents.DotNetBar2, Version = 10.1.0.7, Culture = Neutral, Public Key Token = '7eb7c3a35b91de04' or one of it's dependancies. The located assembly's manifest definition does not match the assembly reference. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x80131040)

Any suggestions please?

I think this was due to the packing of the last installer. I have updated the installer now and you can update by going to the members area and downloading the installer to update (or the portable update in case of users of the portable version). This should work from now on.

The login for the application and the members area is based off the same database and very similar routines so there shouldn't really be a problem with it. Have you tried using the forgotten password system (linked from the members area login page) to retrieve your password?

If you have tried the forgotten password link and still have no luck then just let me know your email address (if it is different to the one attached to your forum account and I will look into it for you.
