The database file is already in use.. You must close the ins

hi, i just did an update on "No Hands SEO **Portable** Update v1.7.11". i try to run the software after that.. THere a error message "The database file is already in use. You must close the instance of No Hands SEO that is using the database".

i tried restart the computer.. but it doesn't work...

any advice?

This is usually because of one of the following reasons:
1) Installed wrong update (portable update with installed version for example)
2) Attempting to open NHSEO from a windows user that isn't the user account used to install
3) Moved / Deleted database
4) Third party software preventing access (AV software could do this)

If the above does not help to resolve the issue simply setup TeamViewer on your computer and I will login and take a look myself for you.

The issue is nearly always caused by one of the above points in my other post. If it is not this then check that you are trying to run from the same Windows user that installed it. If you are sure everything is in order then restart your machine to ensure nothing has a lock on the db.

TeamViewer is a free program that allows me to login to your machine and look how you have things setup, it shouldn't really be necessary for something like this if you have checked the things mentioned above and earlier in this post.
