No Hands SEO Comment Tags / Tokens

Postby jimbobo2779 » Tue Jun 25, 2013 3:53 pm

For some time now No Hands SEO has supported certain tags in comments but in the latest update (v2.10.4.0) there have been a few more added and I feel now would be a good time to get them listed out for easy reference.

%NL% - New Line
%ANCHORTEXT% - Inserts current anchor text
%NAME% - Inserts random name
%LASTNAME% - Inserts a random name that could be used as a surname
%EMAIL% - Inserts a random email
%POSTURL% - Full address of page currently being promoted
%POSTDOMAIN% - Domain of page currently being promoted
%KEYWORD% - Inserts random keyword from your originally entered list of search keywords (will not use extended keywords for this)
%TARGETTITLE% - Title of the current original target page
%TARGETURL% - Full address of the current target page (http://www.domain.com/targetpage.php)
%TARGETHOMEPAGE% - Address of the homepage of the current target page (http://www.domain.com)
%TARGETDOMAIN% - Domain only of current target page (www.domain.com)

No probs, this was most of what I could think was possible and would be useful but if you have any requests for more then by all means post them in here and I will look into it for you.

Can you show examples of how these tags look in a comment? I understand some of them from your video, but others are not so clear. A visual example and explanation would be helpful. Some sound very similar or are not very clear to me.

Examples where applicable are given, what is it that you are confused about? I can't really give an example of things like anchor text as it would depend on what the anchor texts of your profiles were as to what is inserted into the profile.

When adding a profile via the add profile wizard you can play around with the tags and then click on "Show Example Comment" to see exactly what the comment will look like when it is posted.

No probs, you can actually get an example comment from the Profile Handler and also from the profile list right-click menu but the Add Profile Wizard comment controls alow you to have a good play around with the comment tags in an easy way.

Do you have an opinion on which ones are more likely to be accepted and which would probably do you the most good? Just trying to make the best use of the options.

Its not really down to opinion it is just whatever you can use to write the types of comments that you want to post. Everyone will have different wants and needs from their comments so it isn't really a case of use X, Y and Z but more a case of whatever works for you.
