I open it then it show something saying the program has stopped working, how can i start the trial?

This was a packing issue with the installer and was fixed earlier today. You can get the working trial from here

I didn't want to start this 14 day free trial before getting this question answered. If I start the free trial, is there a way to cancel my subscription before I have to start paying? If so, what would you have to do?

The trial is for 7 days and requires no subscription or even entering of any personal information at all. Simply go grab the trial and install it and away you go.
