Link Building Slowing

Is it normal to get a few thousand links in the first day, then for it to trickle after that?

I'm only getting 10 links or so a day for my campaigns now.

No unless you are using bad proxies or have very strict limits (PR, OBL or bad words etc) settings. There are other things that could cause it such as an overly long anchor texts or very few or no proxies and using the PR limit and a few other things but the first few things mentioned are the usual suspects.

Hmm.. I'm using the recommended setting from the videos.

I have about 60 proxies, they are mixed speeds, maybe that could be it. They're from a reputable provider.

Yes. This always happens to me when I add a new website. While it's doing the whois I'll get 500-1k in a few hours time, then I slow to 5-150 an hour.

There are lots of things that could do this, without knowing any of your settings it really isn't possible for me to say definitively what is causing the low number of links. There aren't really any recommended settings, everything is dependant on what the user wants.

I would suggest it was related to OBL or PR limits but there are lots of ways that you can limit the number of posts/links that NHSEO can make so it would take a very long time for me to cover all of them without knowing any details.

I would suggest to look in the log and see what is happening in there as in most cases that will show quite clearly what is or isn't happening.

I've also noticed a new form of captcha showing up (perhaps from a new network added) since about 2-3 updates ago that completely stumps captcha sniper and is a captcha type I've never encountered in the wild myslef. I've not had it in the budget to see if death by captcha can crack them yet.

As DbC is a hybrid auto/human input captcha if their auto system cannot solve it then humans should be able to quite easily. All other pay per solve services should have no issue with any captchas as well.
