NH Indexer/NH Pinger/Nested Spinning

Postby hackersmovie » Thu Mar 21, 2013 6:46 pm

I just updated NHSEO (took almost 4 hours to update the database  ) and also purchased the NH Indexer and downloaded the NH Pinger programs. (It's been a while since I've run NHSEO because I was getting a lot of emails about spam) Anyway, NHSEO has created over 100 "verified" links but, nothing has been sent to NHIndexer or NHPinger, meanwhile Captcha Sniper X3 has been solving like crazy.

Question: Is there any good way to verify NHIndexer and NHPinger are actually running and are/will accept the links from NHSEO?

Also, I took a great deal of time to write custom comments and loaded them into the profile like I did last time. Shouldn't this override the included comments list? (It didn't seem to the last time I was running NHSEO)

Finally, I also have painstakingly created nested spun anchor text to help improve the diversity of the anchor text being used. Does NHSEO support nested spinning? Here's an example of how I have it set up:

Code: Select all
{{anchor 1|anchor2}anchor3|anchor4}}|{{{clickhere|CLICKHERE}|click here|CLICK HERE}|click here!|CLICK HERE!}

To make No Hands Indexer work with No Hands SEO all you need to do is ensure that the option labelled "Send Confirmed Links to No Hands Indexer" and then save the settings and all links made from that point will be sent to the indexer. If the indexer has been running unattended for a while such that the link it has been sent have had enough time to finish the indexing process they will likely have been removed from the list. Finished profiles are set to be removed after 10mins by default so it could just be this. If you wish to leave these in the list you can disable this setting in the indexer's settings tab.

The custom comments of a profile should always override the built in comments, are you certain the custom comments were not used? I have not had a bug with this that I remember and as such it has stayed largely unchanged since around v1.5 nearly a year and a half ago. If you have more details I would be happy to look into it.

Nested spinning is supported and shouln't create any issues, to check your spins you can right click on any spinnable input and click the "Open Text Rewriter". The text rewriter allows you to see example inputs of your spin text very easily and then send it directly to the input that you right-clicked on.

Thanks for the reply! NHSEO has been running for almost 12 hours now and has created 1,152 "verified" links, none of which have been sent to either the Indexer or Pinger applications. The logs for both those apps are completely blank. I have stopped NHSEO a couple of times and hit the "test" button for both and also disable the automatic indexing and pinging within NHSEO. I'm not sure what I missed here but, it's not working.

I have checked some of the links NHSEO has created and the nested spinning seems to be working great!

I also checked the custom comments and they too seem to be working!

If I could just get the indexer and pinger working I'd be in heaven.... again... :D

o.k. now I'm even more confused....

I completely closed NHSEO, NHIndexer, NHPinger and Captcha Sniper. When I re-opened the Indexer and Pinger they both had the same 972 urls showing!

I think I'm confused as to how this works. I thought that NHSEO would send the links to the other apps in real time. It seems as though, it stores them in a queue until I close it and reopen it then it send the queued URLS to the Indexer and Pinger. Is that right? If so, do I have to close the Indexer and Pinger every-so-often to get the URLs to show up in each program?

Nope, it definitely will accept the links automatically, there should be no need to close/reopen either the indexer or pinger to get the links in there.

I don't know why it would have done that on your machine to be honest, all I can think is that something was preventing the indexer from accessing the "My Documents\No Hands Indexer" folder temporarily. I would assume that it should work fine now. If you have this happen again in future I would look at any AV/security software that you have installed to make sure it has not placed some sort of hold over this folder.

Thanks again for the reply. They both seem to be running just fine now. Although, the Indexer seems a bit slow. It's not able to keep up with NHSEO as the queue is just getting bigger and bigger. The Pinger flies right through them though....

Yeah it will, it takes time to post hundreds of times (pinger only does about 18 from memory). You can limit the number of links posted in the settings if you want it to keep up wth the pinger and NHSEO.

Any suggestion on the number to limit it to? If it's currently posting to "hundreds" maybe limit it to 50? I'd think between the pinger and indexer (even if limited to 50) that should be enough to get a large portion of them indexed by the search engines, right?

I would say about 200-400 would be about right though you can set to 50 if you are not able to service the number of links that are being created by NHSEO.

When Im running on my servers I tend to keep it at about 400 as that is how many posts I can get away with while still having it keep up with my pinger and NHSEO, if you want to set it lower that shouldn't be a problem really.

I said hundreds as pages can be sent to 750 or so different sites that help in indexing, domains can be sent to 2500+
