V1.6.19

Postby RizlaUK » Mon Jan 30, 2012 5:54 pm

v1.6.19 was by 'FAR' the best version for me.... Steamed away like Stephenson's Rocket and had the ratio of post to confirmed as I would expect it.
.20 was as you know Jim, a desaster 'for me'
.21 - got me out of the 'desaster zone'
.22 - about the same as .21

Problem: Over the whole weekend to 5.30 today (Monday) I got 1814 posts out of that I achieved 2 confirmed!

No change in keywords, no setup change from all the info I sent during .v20

Proxies update constantly through Proxy Multiply Etc and in correct format Etc

I'm going to change my keywords tonight, to something totally 'off topic' .. none related and see if that makes any difference.

I can't see anyone else reporting this behaviour so I presume it MUST be MY setup

No, since going to the version where proxies are required, I am not getting many confirmed either. It was working like a madman in the beginning. I would only run it for an hour at a time, as it was humming and stacking up confirmed links easily. Since going to the version that requires proxies, I'm getting nothing basically. I have used two different proxy tools, and still no change. It appears that this thing uses bing for the searching, and every proxy works only a few moments and then bing shuts them out. I think it's a bing issue, but I'm not a software guy, so we will have to see what Jim says.

I can say for certain that something big changed with the proxy required version, and things have come to a crawl since that time.

Well thanks at least for proving it was not 'just' me... I was starting to get paranoid ;)
I'm sure Jim took it away from Bing. Just changed my keywords about an hour ago and it 'aint looking promising but I'll wait till the morning.
The software did used to work but it's been usless (for me) for some time.... except for the very brief .19

I got a reply from Jim and he says it's nothing to do with Bing, so I don't know. I do know that since the revision that required proxy's, I've gotten a total of 5 confirmed links only for hours of running. Prior to that revision, I was only running an hour at a time due to all of the confirmed links I was getting. What changed I don't know, so we will have to wait on Jim to comment as to his thoughts.

OK, I spent some more time giving this problem a look over. It's actually Yahoo that is getting locked out on every proxy. Each proxy won't last more than about 5 minutes, and then it's dead for searching yahoo any longer. NH SEO actually eats through the proxies faster than you can replace them, at least that's what's happening on my end. Jim, any suggestions?

Hope this does not hit twice (hung on trying to post)
Ran it for 12hrs lastnight, 2145 posts but 0 confirmed! Added a few new diverse keywords for the search.
Proxy list from PM is currently 244 confirmed working anonymous.... Main proxy list updated every 15 mins. to the text file. NHSEO set to constantly update from the text file.

So, using new keywords has not helped on this occasion.

Yeah, the same thing happen to me too. No confirmed links being made since I updated to 1.6.22.0 40hours ago. Tried with new batch fresh free proxy (ano & elite) and then without proxy, nothing changed. Do you think private proxies will make any change?
The number of tried & posted comments are still increasing. But not the confirmed ones.

Jim, if you have a moment to look at this, I can set up a teamviewer session for you. My NHS copy run on VPS win 2003.

V1.6.22 had a bug in its auto link checker, this has now been ironed out in v1.6.23. You can update to it in any of the usual ways.

It isn't as good as 1.6.19 or previous versions though regarding "found links" or the program simply doesn't work as good anymore. My results with NHS nowadays is quite limited - i seem to be able to get a max of ~10-20 confirmed links per 24h with Captcha Sniper turned on.

For example i'm running 6 profiles now and in the last 12 hours i've only seen 20 links found running at 70 threads (10 for search. 100/100 Mbit business class fibre connection) with a proxylist that is updated and checked each 30 minutes. I've tried running it without proxies through a VPN as well but that doesn't seem to matter. The log doesn't output that there are any errors or just returning a bounch of 0 results either. I've also reset all profiles to sort it out and test again but the rate at which one gets links is still very low.

The first iterations of NHS felt way more efficient in getting links even though it rendered the computer useless after 24 hours due to CPU-abuse. :)
