No rss and general platforms

I just installed the trial version, but there are no general or rss platforms.
How I can solve this problem to test your product?

I would suggest to update and try again. The update button is in the toolbar and it takes seconds to update.

Really though the platforms should show up fine in even that version, there is no current issue with it that I have seen and no other reports of it. Those platforms are pulled from the server so if you have anything that could block this such as an anti-virus or firewall software you should try disabling (even temporarily) or adding an allowance for the software.

Another thing is if you have entered anything into your windows .hosts file to remove it.
