NHSEO keeps changing back to previous version

I have updated to 1.6.19.0 twice already but each time after I quit and restart the application it goes back to 1.6.18.0 and asks me to update. In the meanwhile when I try to run a session it makes no progress at all according to the log so there seems to be some kind of major block here. Any idea how to fix this? It never happened with any previous update.

After a 3rd attempt NHSEO is sticking with the latest version but it's still making no progress at all when I press the start button.

V1.6.19 had a bug where stopping and starting again would cause it to get stuck in a loop. V1.6.20 was released shortly after you posted your last comment, I would suggest the latest version will fix this issue for you.

I've applied the update but it's still incredibly slow with v1.6.20. Nothing much is really happening.

I've tried this as well on the Windows laptop where it seemed to be going OK for a while but then it just got stuck at a certain point and didn't move for about 40 minutes until I hit the stop button. Then there was an error message which said the main monitoring thread had ended in error.
