Database Reset & Bing API

Postby jvm127 » Sat Jan 14, 2012 11:00 pm

I just downloaded the trial version of NHSEO. I wondered if there is a way to reset the database. I have set up 11 different profiles now and deleted 10 of them because I was just testing and messing around. I know this is anal but I'd like to be able to start over at 1 any time I want to rather than have the profiles keep counting up even if I deleted some. Is there a way to reset the database?

Also, when I open the software I get a message that the Bing API is messed up and the bundled API will be used until it is fixed. I don't have the exact message right now because NHSEO is running but I'll post it the next time I log in and restart the software. I just wondered if anyone else had heard of this.

The only easy way to reset the database, if simply removing the profiles is not possible, is to go into your "My Documents\No Hands SEO" folder and remove the DATABASE.db3 (or rename if you wish to keep a backup) and then reinstall the trial and you will have an empty database. Bear in mind unless you make a manual backup you will not be able to recover any of your deleted information.

The bing API message has been covered in the thread below:
