Example Content and Adding Profile don't seem to be working

Hi

I'm using the profile wizard to set up a campaign. Every time i try to show "example content" is just shows the anchor text, the other fields are empty. When I try to "Add Profile", it doesn't seem to do anything. Window doesn't close, profile not saved. What am I doing wrong? I've looked through the videos and as far as I can tell I'm doing everything you do in them.

Also, on a sie note, I only need to use proxies if I'm running more than one search thread don't I? is that correct?

Don't worry about it. Restarted the app a couple of times and then it worked.

If you don't fully fill in the profile it won't be able to show a full example, I have added more fail-safes when viewing an example comment on an unfinished profile now so that can be done in th enew version which has just been uploaded. Again if the profile isn't fully entered (such as no pages entered ito the Page Address(es) control) it won't be a valid profile so it won't add it, finish filling in the controls in the "Basic Profile Details" tab and you should have no issue adding the profile, in the latest update there has been more checks put in place to warn the user when a profile is not going to be added so that it is clear what need filling in.

Proxies are only needed when running with more than 1 searching thread and/or when you are limiting by PR.

I choose to have the whole website indexed, and now I've just noticed that NHSEO is building links to media files like images, archives, and categories (I'm in wordpress). How can I edit the campaign once it's running to only index/build links to the pages I want it to. I remember the option being there in the wizard, but I can't find it now the campaign is running.

Is it possible to change the settings of one campaign, without the other campaigns being affected? I've noticed when I try to edit one campaign, say for example, the Bad Words options, the same bad words are applied to the other campaigns. Is there a way to edit non-unvirsally?

All of these controls and options for editing pages crawled by NHSEO can be used in the Profile Handler. NHSEO will not crawl any media file if it is correctly shown (with <img> tags) and not linked as if it is another page (with <a href> tags). If the image is linked to its own page then it is a different page of content and will be treated as such by NHSEO just as your category and archive pages, there is no way for NHSEO to know which pages should and shouldn't be crawled without being told so but luckily this can be easily done in the Profile Handler.

The bad words controls are globally set in the settings, there is no way to set this per profile currently. If you wish you can use different portable versions (downloadable from the members area) if you want to have different profiles have different settings such as bad words.

For example you could have 1 portable version in the "My Documents\No Hands SEO Portable1" folder and set that up with no bad words and have another portable version in the folder "My Documents\No Hands SEO Portable2" and set that up with a bad words list.
