Squid Proxies Failing The Proxy Checker

Postby joey40 » Thu Jul 11, 2013 4:25 am

I have entered 10 squid proxies ( These are private proxies ) into the proxy tab and have run the checker.

Out of the 10 private proxies, i am seeing this result.
Checked 10
Working 6
Anon 6
Google 0
Yahoo 0

Should these proxies pass the Google and Yahoo. Does this mean that these proxies are no good. I would expect them to work as i just purchased them.

Have you been to the members area and added your IP to the "Authorized IPs" list? It can take a few minutes for the changes to propagate through their system but after that they should start working properly.

I have 100 proxies with SQUID proxies and recently they have been really effective and reliable, more so than the other providers I regularly use so I would be surprised if all of the proxies you have were not working. But yes if you have proxies that are not passing for Google or Yahoo they are no good for searching, hopefully it is just a case of not having set your IP in the Authorized IPs list, this must be done everytime your IP is changed.

I had 30 squid proxies go dead on me within a week of aquiring them, running a max of 4 search threads at a time this past month and have decided to stop using squid as of a few days ago when those ones expired. I like the ipfreely ones mentioned in the recommended proxy services, I've got 40 of them right now and running 12 search threads at a time for 2 weeks now and none have burnt out (checking daily)

I have given up on the squid proxies. I had authorized the IP and everything set up, but they just kept failing. Support changed then a few times but it made no difference. I decided to try buyproxies.org as everyone seems to be raving about them.

The have changed them 3 times now, they just don't last. I have only been running 2 search threads to be very gentle on the 10 proxies, but does not seem to make a difference.

Looks like i will give the ipfreelyproxies a go next. I hope they will work out.

Would be good if nohandsseo had a setting that could automatically check all the proxies at a set interval and send an email when proxies are not working.

The support at buyproxies have identified that the proxies that i have are not being logged in at their end and are telling me that the problem is somewhere in my VPS or the nohandsseo setup.

I have reprovisioned the software on the VPS but the problem is still there.

What should i do?

The only thing you need to do with NHSEO is to make sure that they are all entered correctly and that is one per line only, if when you paste the list in it is pasting them all to a single line that is your problem right there.

Also make sure that they are all in the correct format of:
IP:Port:User:Pass

Usually with buyproxies you are given them in this format in your email and you should be able to paste them in directly in the format they are sent via email to you in, if they are being pasted to a single line then try pasting to another software (like a word processor or something similar) and then copy from there into NHSEO to ensure that they are all on separate lines.

I am familiar with buyproxies as I have 100 proxies from them every month and have never had an issue where all of them refused to work but I have had it where I need to paste to an intermediate software and then in to NHSEO.
