I went to one of the trackBack links to see if it posted

and im not seeing the link posted for my site, can you explain why im not seeing it

When any link is posted it goes through a set of different states:
Not posted
Failed post
Successfull post
Confirmed Link

When a link gets posted it will either result in a success or fail, if it is a success it will then wipe the cookies (internal cookies, this does not affect any web browsers you have installed on your machine) and re-load the page to see if the link is still on that page. If your link s found after re-loading the page without any previous cookies then it is saved as a confirmed link.

As your post was unsuccessful it was not checked as the post was not sent in the first place. That page will never have you link on it so there is no point in checking it again in future.

If you want to check pages for your links you should wait till you start to see messages of "Confirmed Link posted" as these are the pages that have your link on it right now, the successfull posts may get accepted later on but the confirmed links are the links that are automatically approved.
