Google passed proxy

Postby futurnet » Sat Mar 08, 2014 6:06 pm

I notice that NHP mark as google friendly also the transparent proxy, but not mark any chinan proxy as google friend, otherwise another famous proxy checker mark as google friendly only the anon proxy (rejecting the transparent) but accept also the chinan proxy.
I wonder which is the correct policy.

It is a common misconception that proxies have to be anon to pass Google. As for china proxies I am not sure why they would all fail but I will look into it and issue an update soon if there is an issue with it.

I don't know which tester you are referring to but I can guess which one and I actually had the developer not too long ago asking me how he should test for Google passed proxies. The reason I made No Hands Proxies was because I was requested to make it (one user literally begged me to make it) as there was no other reliable proxy checker that could be used to get a decent amount of Google passed proxies anymore, all of the people that requested it were currently using one of the other two main proxy checkers.

When I helped out one of the users of the other tool (via Teamviewer) I saw that they were getting just 35 proxies being listed as passing Google in the tool and then in NHSEO only 8 of them were actually of any use in Google, I just ran a quick test on my test VPS and can see that after about 30 mins it has found 131 proxies to be working with Google, testing these in NHSEO shows that of those 120 are working and over 90 are usable for Google.

I am not saying that my way of doing things is always the best but I made No Hands Proxies because I knew the current software solutions were not filling the needs of the users of proxies and that thing could be done better, what a lot of people don't realise is that I have been making SEO software for 7+ years and have a lot of experience in how things can and should be done.

*EDIT: I forgot that google.com is banned in china so obviously they should all fail the Google check. If you have a tool that is passing these for google then they must have an issue with either their google check routines or with figuring out where the proxies are from. I just added Google Hong Kong in as a test website to see if any would pass the Google HK search check and sure enough I got 1 to pass, just 1 though. If you check against other sites that chose to comply with China's laws (like Yahoo) you will see that they pass as many as you would expect but sites like Google that chose to fight their censorship then got banned / left the country won't be usable with those proxies.
