Trial not working for me on VPS with windows server 2012.

It says "Your trial was not verified, the server returned the message below: could not find start date"

This could be due to a bad proxy being set in windows internet connection settings there is a guide on how to remove it here.

If not it will be something else that is interfering with the trial check attempt (Av, firewall, windows hosts file etc)
