Once it has finished testing you will be able to see how many threads were used before pages began returning blank. It is strongly advised to stay below this limit for your thread settings, i.e. ensure that your max threads + searching threads does not approach this maximum limit.
You can abort at any time by clicking the Abort button at any time. It may take up to a minute for all threads to end working after clicking the abort button and it is important wait for all threads to finish aborting before attempting to close the window as it can take even longer to fully end those threads.
