Hi Jim

The software is set up and running and has been for a number of hours - 20+

I appear to be getting a phenomenal amounts of "Added 0 blog comment targets to" in the log
and only 9 confirmed links out of 3500 comments.

Any ideas or suggestions?

Hi hafj. Please don't post multiple posts as all new members first couple of posts are subject to moderation to stop spam posts.

What you are seeing is very often due to bad proxies or other bad settings. If you run with good (private or pre-screened public proxies) there is no reason to not be getting that many links within just a few minutes. I would be expecting hundreds of links a day with the default settings.

When NHSEO runs it absolutely prevents ever posting to the same page more than once so if you have lots of related keywords with just a small amount of variation it is very likely that the SEs are returning the same pages and these are being ignored by NHSEO. This disregarding of already posted to pages is one contributing factor to not getting any NEW links from a search but bad proxies are by far the biggest factor with most users.
