Evaluating, and having some questions

Postby HaagseHarry » Wed Apr 18, 2012 5:50 pm

Hi all,

I am evaluating NHS and it does a fine job with the standard settings, I think.
Started with 2 website profiles yesterday afternoon and it gave me some 130 Confirmed backlinks for each website.
Which is fine with me, maybe this is too many at a time already?
I have let NHS run for the evening and through the night.

But, restarting the processing after a stop this morning didn't bring any new backlinks today.
Is this normal behaviour, or have I missed something maybe?
And I noticed a large amount of failed postings etc. after the restart of NHS.

Anyway, how many backlinks would you let create per period of time without risking to wake up all the Search Engines?
:)

Cheers,
HaagseHarry

To be honest the inbuilt proxy harvester is currently a bit overloaded with all of the users of the tool and it can make it hard to find proxxies that can be used to search with from that. You could try switching to Google in the Settings=> Application Settings tab instead of Yahoo.

If switching to Google doesn't work for you then you may want to start using a proxy harvesting tool (Proxy Multiply has a free 7 day trial that can be used) to find a wider variety of working proxies or private proxies.

With better proxies you will likely be looking at many more hundreds of links every day.

If you are unsure how to setup a proxy harvesting tool there is one in the guides and tutorials section of the support forum on how to do this:
