Question- How to only send comments to my txt list

Postby arnold55 » Thu Mar 15, 2012 6:05 pm

How do you send comments to a "particular" group of sites i put together?
I have tried deactivating the "activate comments" after I loaded my list, but when i do this it seems not to be posting or targeting.

or maybe it does not meet the criteria settings (like all ready to many comments on that page) just asking..

so please help asap

If you load the list into the profile via the Settings=> Add and Block Lists tab it will automatically add it to that profile and use that list to post to. When it has finished posting to this list it will begin searching and posting to the newly found targets, you don't need to change any settings as it will do it all for you.

If you are unsure of what the tool is doing at any one time you can check the log, all events are logged in there.

jimbobo...
so, if a client bought only edu links and i added a list to his profile and ran, i would just watch the log and stop the customers campaign when it stared searching? if i'm hearing you right..

the reason i'm asking 'cause i will need to print the output record and email it to the client

thnax for the help and looking forward to your answer

Yeah I guess that would, at the minute, be the only real way to do it. An other way would be to leave it running and then stop it when you see it commenting to non-list related targets and remove the non .edu links, not ideal but both ways should work.

Things may change in the future with one of the many updates due but I am not sure if any planned updates would make a difference to how this would work.
