Hi all,

Please dont shoot me down on my first post but I am trying to wrap my head around the software. From what I understand

If you set a profile as a website, why does it index the website but only post links for the full address ?

If above is not true and it posts links for the spidered pages, is it really wise to have blog comments all with the same anchor text going to different page url's ?

Eg.

If I have a website that sells Widgets and I have pages -

Red Widgets
White Widgets
Blue Widgets
Green Widgets
Purple Widgets
Silver Widgets

I would want the page title/subject to be the anchor text, not 1 word (or mixture of words)

Or am I totally wrong on the backlink thinking ?

Don't worry about asking questions in here, this is the place to talk about and ask about NHSEO.

Only the website address (e.g http:/ /domain.com) is accepted by the indexing websites so there would be no point in sending inner pages (e.g http:/ /domain.com/page.html) to them. These services are really only meant to get a website indexed initially, the amount of linking potential from these types of links is pretty low past helping to get indexed initially.

When a profile is entered in as a website profile NHSEO will automatically crawl these pages and then you can edit each of the pages (optionally) in the Profile Handler=>Pages tab. This is for doing what you have alluded to; setting a different anchor text (preferably spinnable) for the different pages.

Having different anchor text groups for your inner pages is ideal as it gives them more relevant backlinks which should help them rank for the keywords that they primarily target.

If you don't edit the pages in the profile handler, I assume the pages get posted with the anchor text specified when you set up the profile ?
