What does the 'Set as crawled button' Y/N do?

Hello!

I am probably being dense but I don't really understand what the 'Set as crawled' button is for. Can anyone help?

Its not being dense at all.

If you have a profile set as a website then it will automatically crawl the website to promote inner pages as well as the index page, if you want to you can set the page to "crawled" (meaning it has already been crawled) for new pages so don't crawl it again. Also alternatively if the page has already been crawled but you have updated it since the last crawl you can set it to "not crawled" (meaning it hasn't already been crawled) so it will then be checked for new pages.

I hope that clears it up a little, it is one of those options that only really makes sense if it is something you need so it is probably just the case that you either aren't using a website profile or are fine to have NHSEO handle the crawling. Either way it isn't the sort of option that most users will need all that often to be honest.
