How many profiles is the max?

That is what i was wondering, i have a laptop with win7 on a 5mb/sec internetline

How much profiles would you say that is save to use, i have 7 now but i need about 25 to 50 (i have that much sites that need attention)

is that ok with one install

There isn't any limit to the number of profiles you can create and run in NHSEO. Just be aware that the more profiles you have the less time each one will be getting promoted, it shouldn't slow much down having 100 or less on the majority of computers just that each one will run slower than if you had just 10 profiles running. I have known some people to run hundreds of profiles before.
