Ranking in Google with NHSEO

Postby dannydd » Thu Sep 27, 2012 8:07 pm

Hi everyone,

I just got this software and I'm looking for input on a campaign/project which will be successful in Google.

I started a new project and it's been running for hours. Will this project run endless until I hit the stop button?

So far, it's built 450 confirmed links and thousands of comments, trackbacks, images, etc...which is great. I'm a bit worried that so many links were posted in such a small time period, there's no way this technique will work with ranking in Google. The page I entered in this project most likely will be banned/blocked from serps b/c it looks spammy. How can I successfully set up a campaign which will actually work in my benefits of ranking in Google? Is their a way I can run this project endless and possibly set a threshold and boundary for the software to maybe post 100 links per day? If I limit the links to 100 a day continuously...this tactic most likely will fly below googles radars and work. Does anyone have any other strategies..maybe people who have successfully ranked in google and kept the ranks by using this software..

Any suggestions or help would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Dan

I have no idea why so many think that G, or any search engine for that matter, will ban any page for just a few hundred links. It is just not realistic.

The only case studies I have seen of people trying to ban or penalise a website have involved many thousands of links being spammed to the worst targets possible and have resulted in temporary drops in rankings for a specific keyword (where only 1 anchor text was used), however they also saw in increase in other keywords so no outright ban that I can see from backlinks.

If your website is decent and is not over-optimised (on-site factors) then your site stands very little chance of being penalised.

Click here to see a perfect example of the most open case study of "negative SEO" that I have ever seen. As you can see from this case study (the only credible one I could find after months of actively seeking them) it involved "just" hundreds of thousands of backlinks direct to his website on a regular (every couple days) basis using a single anchor text. This is the epitome of terrible SEO and it doesn't even get the site banned.

So with your setup of getting a few hundred links everyday you really shouldnt have anything to worry about, if you are one of those that worry about things then just make sure that you have plenty of anchor text variations (use spinning in the anchor text field). You can also add more profiles so that the links created are spread out across more websites so as to limit the number of links created or you could just set a limit to the number of links created to a profile per day in the Profile Handler.

There are all the controls you need to get plenty of great links with No Hands SEO, you just have to put them in place if you feel they are needed.

I will soon be writing this up into a big post that will be stickied for easy referencing as it is starting to get a bit silly with how often the old mantra of "automatic link building will get your site penalised" when the reality is far from it. When people say they have negatively affected a website with negative SEO it is more often than not just temporary and involves far more than hundreds of links, it takes hundreds of thousands of links and many more obviously faked social signals and links with obvious footprints.

Hi Jim,

Thanks a lot for the reply, really appreciate it.

How long will each campaign run for? I'm also targetting a youtube video/url and not a domain.

I set up a nice amount of search keywords and spinnable anchor texts. It's been running for 2 days and i've got 1736 confirmed links so far..so it's building approximately 1k/day. Once this run is done, do you suggest continuous and consistent runs until I start seeing results?

Any strategies or tips would be appreciate. This program is great.

Thanks,
Dan

The best way to prevent any link profile looking spammy is to use plenty of anchor text variation. I have never seen a website be penalised for links but I understand it is a popular [b]theory[b] right now, and yes it most definitely is just a theory, so you should be fine with just 100 links per day providing you have lots of anchor text variations.

Another great way of getting more relevancy from the links created by NHSEO is to use custom spinnable comments that are relevant to your niche. Doing this will add your desired keywords into every page that you are attempting to generate links from adding more relevancy and weight to your links.
