Pinger crashes

Postby animuz1 » Wed Sep 24, 2014 11:36 am

Hi Jim,

I noticed that lately pinger became very slow, and today when i loaded all no hands apps, the list of sites in pinger were all from hidemyass. Like 5000 of the same links. I can not remove them now because pinger crashes before i can remove anything. What can I do?

When you have a large amount of links NHPinger can slow down, if you wait for it to load up and then close it via Task Manager it won't persist the links.

What takes the most time on load up is loading in all of the pages from the Import folder, you can wipe this by going to the "My Documents\No Hands Pinger\Import" folder and removing all of its contents.

This is partially caused by a bug that was in No Hands Indexer so ensure that you are using the latest version of all of the software.

I followed this and now it's working perfect with 500 threads and caching up with the 10k links it has in the database and later i will manually add links little by little untill all finished.

After i shall just use it combined with indexer just to ping the links from indexer, so it's not so so many as when i fed it with both indexer and main NHSEO.

Good idea?

Coz my desire is to have all links pinged, it's the best thing. I don't wanna lose even one ping.

Thank you :-)
